The vast majority of all fractures are crown fractures in children and teenagers. This type of injury calls for an initial restorative treatment with composite resin. New materials and methods have increased the durability and aestetics to such a degree that this initial treatment may end up being the final one. Optimizing the quality of this treatment is therefore essential. Where lies the key to success and optimum long term prognoses?
