The study programme for the degree in dentistry includes a Bachelor's programme (Bachelor of Science in Dental Surgery) and a Master's programme (Master of Science in Dental Surgery). Completion of both programmes leads to the profession as practising dentist.

The education includes clinical and theoretical courses that provide the students with the necessary skills for practicing dentistry. Students are taught by the researchers at the department and clinical instructors. The theoretical courses include lectures or group sessions and the clinical courses include treatment of patients under the supervision of clinical instructors.
